Description
Selim Hassan, on behalf of the Egyptian University excavated the zone south of the causeway of Khephren, they discovered Queen Khentkawes Complex and eight tombs. They brought to light many interesting finds of small objects found in the debris. Selim Hassan dedicated the excavation of Giza, season 1932-1933, Vol IV to the memory of his mother. The archive contains a collection of manuscripts by Selim Hassan to the pyramid and Temple of Khentkawes. Tombs of : Niankhre, Ankhbaf, Debhen, Sekhemkare, Nebmakhet, Nikawhr and Niankh, Sedhtp, Nikawhr, and Khnumbaf. Excavation team: Mahmoud Darwish Eff. assistant. Ramadan Abu-el-iz, sub-assistant.
